Top Guns celebrated

Aug 17, 2021

UON has celebrated the skills and commitment of its people throughout the year with the presentation of the inaugural UON Top Gun Awards.
Nominated by his peers, electrician Callum Fraser was selected for the top honour in recognition of his positive attitude, commitment to delivering solutions for customers, project delivery flexibility and consistent high standards.

The Top Gun Awards provide opportunities to recognise and reward UON employees in each division during the year, for their contribution, commitment and service to living our Values of Safety, Positivity, Teamwork, Client Service, Accountability and Simplicity.

The division winners for 2021 were:

Production – Alex Bartho
Energy – Callum Fraser
Shared Services – Katie Wylde
Projects – Rik Smith

UON Chairman Mark Keogh said, “All of the nominees, the divisional finalists and Callum are well regarded and important parts of the UON family, and their achievements have been attained while living out our values.”
“I congratulate and thank both those recognised, but also those who made the time to nominate and celebrate their colleagues. As we continue to grow, this is the inclusive culture we want to continue to foster.
“Callum’s numerous nominations from across the business, highlights just how appropriate Callum’s Award is and the importance that our customers place on how we live our Values in all that we do.”

UON’s Top Gun Awards are open to all UON employees through nominations by their colleagues, to recognise their work in line with UON’s Values of Safety, Simplicity, Accountability, Positivity, Teamwork and Client Service. Each division of the business celebrates the success of its people bi-annually, with Top Gun recognitions, feeding into the annual celebration.
