UON equipment is on the ground in Port Hedland, ready to support the community ahead of the upcoming cyclone season.
Generators and additional fuel tank capacity have been installed to provide power at the Port Hedland Civic Centre and the JD Harding Centre, which are both community cyclone shelters.
With the capability to run 24 hours a day, UON’s units are built to withstand the Pilbara conditions.
While everyone hopes the equipment won’t be needed in response to a cyclone, UON is ready to provide the support if needed.
