The festive spirit and the joy of giving was highlighted at UON’s Malaga operations this week, as team members from across the business took part in “Secret Santa with a Twist”.
While team members anonymously bought a gift for a random colleague, the chosen item had to be reflective of the person’s “inner child”. The twist being that the gift, while initially given to the person is then donated to charity to share the spirit of Christmas to less fortunate children and families throughout Perth.
With gifts purchased for children of all sizes and ages, the base of the office Christmas tree was overflowing. There was a lot of joy and laughter as the team came together to share the delight of each other’s gifts.
Being able to support others through such a display of UON’s Values of Teamwork and Positivity, ensured the smile on the faces of the team were as big as those likely for the children set to receive the gifts.
Later in the day UON donated the gifts to Clutter Bugs to distribute to the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Charity, in time for distribution ahead of Christmas.
